Agartala, 30th January 2025: : A daring robbery took place at the house of TSR worker Sanjay Debnath in the Gokulnagar area. Thieves made off with 7 ‘Bhoris’ of gold ornaments and Rs 60,000 in cash. The robbery took place in the absence of the homeowners and was discovered when they returned on Thursday morning.
The incident was reported with the Bishalgarh police station, and an investigation has been launched. Locals suspect that drug addicts from the area, desperate for money, were behind the heist.
The police are working to arrest the suspects and recover the stolen valuables.
