Agartala, 30th January 2025: Allegations of attack and vandalism have surfaced, causing tension in the Kumarghat railway station area due to a previous enmity and land-related issues. The incident involves a dispute between the family of Mouya Bhattacharya, a resident of the Chowmuhani area and her neighbors Sajal Deb and Banga Deb.
Mouya Bhattacharya has alleged that members of the two neighboring families attacked her house together. The boundary in front of her house was completely demolished, and there was an attempt to dismantle her shop.
In response to the incident, Mouya Bhattacharya has lodged a complaint against Sajal Deb and Banga Deb at Kumarghat police station, seeking assistance from the police administration, local media and the state Chief Minister.
The police have initiated an investigation into the matter, as tensions continue to run high in the affected area.
