Agartala, January 28: The ICFAI University Tripura has observed the 75th Republic Day at the University campus on January 26 at 8.45 AM with due honor and importance. All the faculty members’ Staff, Scholars, Hostellers’ & nearby village children’s were present on that auspicious celebration.
The NCC cadets of the University have performed the ceremonial parade. Vice-Chancellor Prof.(Dr.) Biplab Halder ceremonially unfurled the National Flag. After singing of the National Anthem, a motivational speech given by the Vice Chancellor Prof.(Dr.) Halder. Other dignitaries like Registrar Dr. A Ranganath, Dean Academics Dr. Subhasish Chatterjee, Dean of Faculty of Science & Technology Dr. P Rana Borthakur, Principals, HoD’s and Coordinators were also present in the occasion. An eye soothing cultural program consisting of solo song, group song, duet song, solo dance, group dance, patriotic speech etc. was also performed by the students. The program ended with sweet distribution.
