8 Bangladeshi nationals held in Agartala Rly Station

Agartala: July 06. The Government Railway Police today detained 8 suspected Bangladeshi nationals from Agartala railway station. It is known that they entered the state illegally from Bangladesh.

They entered the state from Bangladesh to go to Delhi in search of work. On this day, they were arrested by the railway police after going to Agartala railway station to Delhi by train. Railway police arrested them from Tripura Sundari Express. An official of the railway police said that a total of 8 Bangladeshi nationals were arrested from Agartala railway station just before departure of Tripura Sundari Express. Among those arrested, 5 are men and the remaining three are women. Initially, the arrestee said that they had come to the state to go to Delhi in search of work. They entered the state through Sonamura border area. The police personnel said that a case has been filed and the incident is being investigated.
