9 including Bangladeshi Nationals, four Indian fraudsters held in state

Agartala: August 10. Based on secret information against the Rackets run to facilitate the illegal immigrants and human traffickers, Tripura Police busted a big racket by arresting four Bangladeshi Nationals, one Indian tout and 4 fraudsters who are providing fake Aadhaar cards etc.

In a press release Tripura Police said that in this major drive on August 09, police have arrested four Bangladeshi nationals identified as Mst Kolsoma Begum (24) Of Chitagong, Mst Riya Mani (22) Of Chitagong, Mst Sadia Mani (19) of Firozpur, and their guide Ebadur Rahaman (42) of Chitagong of Bangladesh have been arrested from Agartala Railway Station.

“A specific case has been registered against them and during further course of investigation five persons of Tripura including one tout and four fraudsters who were fraudulently making fake Aadhar cards to facilitating illegal migrants were arrested”, said Police.

Among them Sudhan Sarkar of Amtali, West Tripura has been arrested on August 09 who was providing shelter to the BD Nationals in his house.

Thereafter, on August 10 Police arrested more four persons involved in fraudsters identified as Samiran Paul (40) of Master Choumuhani of West Tripura, Mithun Das (36) of Town Rajarbag, Gomati District, Biplab Roy(22) of sekerkote of West District and Subhankar Sur (35) of Anandanagar under West District who were making fake documents etc. for the illegal migrants and busted the Inter State /International linkage of this racket. Further actions against end to end connections are underway.

“More special drives will continue to prevent illegal immigration to Tripura and further to other States of the country effectively”, said police.
