‘A Tribute to Gurudev’ – Annual function of Delhi World Public School held

Agartala, January 17, 2023: The second annual function of Delhi World Public School, Agartala was held on Tuesday at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan here. The evening began with the arrival of the Chief Guest Prof Arunoday Saha, Chairman Tripura State Higher Education Council, Guest of Honour NC Sharma, Director of the Directorate of Higher Education and in the presence of Vineet Verma, Vice-Chairman of the DWPS, Agartala & Harshit Dalmia, Director of the DWPS, Agartala.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries. Addressing the audience, Chief Guest Prof Arunoday Saha emphasized on the quality of education offered at Delhi World Public School. He is very much overwhelmed to be a part of Delhi World Public School.

Jayashrita Majumder, Principal of the DWPS, Agartala, expressed in her address the necessity for education that fosters a child’s holistic development and learning, which strengthens the development of children with active minds, healthy bodies, and a happy heart.

The versatile students showcased a well-coordinated theatrical presentation of “Tribute to Gurudev.” The performance highlighted India’s incredibly rich cultural heritage with the firm conviction that our diverse culture guides us down the right paths and propels us toward our goals. The whole evening was appreciated by the audience. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks and the national anthem.
