ADB to fund Tripura govt for renovation of 14 goddess temple

Agartala: May 16. Asian Development Bank would financially support the state government for the renovation and beautification of 14 goddess temple in Tripura.

On Facebook post, Tourism and Transport Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said that with the financial support of Asian Development Bank and under the supervision of Tourism Department of Tripura Government, the 14 goddess temple located in old Agartala will be renovated.

This afternoon, in the presence of the officials and engineers of the Asian Development Bank, along with the MLA of 5-Khayerpur Assembly Constituency Ratan Chakraborty, have discussed the Detailed Project Report (DPR) related to this work on the temple premises.

“Various topics related to the project were beautifully presented by the engineers to the audience”, said the minister.

In today’s detailed presentation session and discussion session, Tripura Government Tourism Department Secretary Uttam Kumar Chakma, Director Tapan Kumar Das, Jirania Sub-Divisional Magistrate Santi Ranjan Chakma, Chairman of Old Agartala Panchayat Samiti Biswajit Shil and others were present.
