Agartala, 23rd June 2025:  To mark the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, the Social Welfare and Social Education department organized an administrative outreach camp at Yagna Kobra High School under Khowai’s Tulashikhar block. Held as part of the ‘Dharti Aaba Jan Bhagidari’ initiative, the camp aimed to extend government services to remote tribal communities.

Residents accessed essential services including applications for PRTC, income certificates, Aadhaar cards, and AST certificates. Free medical checkups, livestock vaccinations, sapling distribution, and awareness on birth-death registration were also conducted.

Social allowances and benefits were distributed under the Tulashikhar ICDS project, alongside nutritional support through the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana and Chief Minister Matri Pushti schemes. Officials from Khowai district and Tulashikhar block, including ICDS supervisors Sabitar Gaur and Sharmistha Roy, encouraged tribal residents to take advantage of such welfare initiatives.
