Agartala, 16th April 2025: Agartala Public School ushered in the Bengali New Year with vibrant celebrations of ‘Borsho Boron Utsav’ marked by a splendid display of talent, culture and community spirit.
The school campus came alive with the rhythm of traditional songs, dances, and eloquent speeches as students showcased their creativity through various performances. The event reflected the institution’s commitment to nurturing cultural heritage and artistic excellence.
Principal-in-charge Shiba Prasad Bhowmik delivered an inspiring speech that motivated students to strive for excellence and embrace their roots. “Such cultural celebrations not only keep our traditions alive but also instill a sense of pride and unity among students,” he said, drawing heartfelt applause from the audience.
The highlight of the event included mesmerizing solo and group performances. In the solo song segment, Aradhya Roy Acharyya (Class V), Sathi Biswas (Class VII), and Priyankari Roy (Class VII) captivated the audience. Group songs were presented by Sathi Biswas, Priyankari Roy, Aahana Biswas (Class IV), and Anindita Banik (Class IV). Enthralling solo dance numbers were performed by Apurba Shil (Class VI) and Sathi Biswas, while the group dance segment featured Aradhya Raham (Class V), Deepshika Satnami (Class V), and Mehek Choudhury (Class VI).
Assistant Teacher Monalisa Banik also addressed the students highlighting the importance of cultural education in holistic student development.
