The camps were held at AGMC in Agartala, Unakoti District Hospital in Kailashahar, Dhalai District Hospital at Kulai and the Sub-Divisional Hospital in Belonia.

A total of 188 voluntary donors came forward during the statewide campaign, resulting in the collection of 188 units of blood and providing a valuable boost to the state’s blood reserves. AGMC in Agartala recorded the highest participation with 83 donors, followed by Unakoti District Hospital with 51, Dhalai District Hospital with 28 and the Sub-Divisional Hospital in Belonia with 26 donors.

The initiative highlighted the spirit of voluntary service and encouraged citizens to contribute towards saving lives through blood donation.

As part of the Foundation Day celebrations, a drawing competition was also organised at the Sub-Divisional Hospital in Belonia. The event provided children with an opportunity to showcase their creativity while promoting awareness about voluntary blood donation, healthcare and humanitarian values.

The AGMC Alumni Association expressed gratitude to all donors, healthcare professionals, hospital authorities, organising committees, volunteers and supporters for their cooperation in making the programme successful.

The Association also reiterated its commitment to undertaking more community-oriented initiatives in the future, upholding the values of compassion, service and social responsibility associated with AGMC.
