Agartala, 13th August 2025: A serious road accident took place early this morning in the Ganganagar Saika area has left the Agriculture Department’s Chief Engineer and several others injured.
According to initial reports, the accident took place around dawn causing panic among residents. Minister Ratan Lal Nath was present at the scene and oversaw the immediate rescue operation. The injured were swiftly shifted to Kumarghat Sub-Divisional Hospital for treatment.
Local MLA Bhagaban Das rushed to the site upon receiving news of the incident, underscoring the gravity of the situation. Hospital sources confirmed that all injured individuals are currently undergoing medical care.
