Ahead of Tripura BJP President Selection, CM Meets Party National Chief in Delhi

Agartala, 27th May 2026:   Ahead of the selection process for the Tripura BJP state president, Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha held a meeting with the national leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party in New Delhi and discussed key organisational matters.

Dr. Saha stated that he met the party’s National President Nitin Nabin at the party headquarters, where they held detailed discussions on internal organisational issues and the current political situation in Tripura. He described the meeting as productive, noting that the focus remained on strengthening the party structure and reviewing recent developments in the state, particularly in the context of the upcoming organisational changes.

Earlier, Dr. Saha also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi, where a series of governance and political issues were discussed, adding to a round of high-level consultations ahead of the Tripura BJP leadership selection process.
