Agartala, 24th January 2025: In an effort to address the blood shortage at South Tripura District Hospital in Santirbazar, the southern district members of the All Tripura Chemist and Druggist Association organized a blood donation camp today. Emphasizing the critical importance of blood donation, the event saw enthusiastic participation from both men and women.
Held at the South Tripura District Hospital in Santirbazar, the camp was a significant success, with a total of 27 individuals coming forward to donate blood. MS JS Reang of the South Tripura District Hospital expressed appreciation for the association’s initiative, acknowledging the vital role such contributions play in healthcare.
Reang also noted that the association’s efforts are expected to continue in the future, further supporting the hospital’s needs and encouraging community involvement in blood donation. The camp not only helped to replenish the hospital’s blood supply but also fostered a spirit of solidarity and generosity among the participants.
