Agartala, 27th July 2024: The fifth annual meeting of the National Committee convened on Saturday, hosted by the Diploma Engineers of All Tripura. The session, which aims to address organizational matters concerning diploma engineers nationwide, included discussions on the scope of their work.
During the meeting, it was highlighted that the state and central governments would review and address the demands presented by the attendees. The All Tripura Diploma Engineers Association Assistant Secretary Pranay Sarkar emphasized the necessity for the state government to respond to these demands effectively.
A key point of discussion was the advocacy for the continuation of the old pension policy, as opposed to transitioning to the new pension system. The meeting underscored the importance of maintaining the existing pension arrangements for diploma engineers.
