Agartala, January 03, 2023: Even though Communists are not in power, misbehaviour with media personnel is still being continued by various organizations of the Left Front. It seemed that they are don’t care democratic form of work process.

With the joint initiative of SFI, TSU, DYFI and TYF, a rally took place near DNV Maidan in Dharmanagar on Tuesday demanding “Education for All, Work for All” and restoration of democracy and rule of law in 56-Dharmanagar assembly constituency under North Tripura district.

The rally was attended by DYFI central committee members. Several leaders of the CPIM, including joint secretary and West Bengal state committee secretary Meenakshi Mukherjee.

Although, there was an aggression among leaders ahead of assembly polls, but presence of common people or supporters were few in numbers. This is being murmured by the natives of Dharmanagar town on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, some CPIM workers and supporters misbehaved with journalists who had come to collect news from the rally. Facing obstructions from the Left supporters in the rally, journalists came back from the ground.

Meanwhile, Meenakshi Mukherjee’s rally attendance raises questions about the strength of the Left before the elections. The presence of CPIM workers and supporters was not noticed in the rally, even though CPM workers and supporters from several areas including Jubarajnagar, Bagbasa joined the rally, the number of people was like pointing fingers.
