It is learner that the Melaghar Municipal Council has once again been involved in corruption in the construction of new slabs in the Melaghar market. It is learned that some members of Melaghar Municipal Council are not aware of this work. The chairman unilaterally directed the councilor Lipika Saha’s husband of Ward No. 6 and the president of Booth No. 22/23 Ramu Saha (Gopal) to construct a slab of Rs 1 lakh 35 thousand.
There is an outcry of anger among all the Prishtha Pramukhs of Ward No-6. In this direction, the kind of material used for making the slab like bricks, sand, clay, and working with it with old rods creates obstacles there. They are claiming that all the bricks are being made with sand and all of them are of poor quality.
