Agartala, February 10, 2023: An attempt to kill a Left Front activist by showing a pistol at an area adjacent to Murabari Rail Bridge in Bishalagrh on Friday.
It is reported that the alleged BJP-backed miscreants attacked Pradip Debnath with pistol in the area adjacent to the Murabari railway bridge around 12 noon on Friday.
Later, Left activist Pradip Debnath went to Krishna Debnath’s house in the area and took shelter. When the incident was reported, Bishalgarh police and paramilitary forces went to the spot.
The BJP miscreants were able to hide from the spot after getting the information. A case will be filed with the police station against some people on behalf of the affected Left-party worker.
Later, CPIM nominated candidate Partha Pratim Majumdar said that terror is being established in the entire area of Bishalgarh, since five years the people of the assembly area are not at peace and they are trying to create unrest again.
Currently, a tense situation is prevailing in the area adjacent to the Murabari railway bridge.
