Agartala, July 02, 2023: Agartala’s private initiative created a precedent by announcing merit scholarships and felicitations to 100 students together. From the former Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma of the state to the Deputy Speaker of the assembly Ram Prasad Paul, they were overwhelmed with emotion. The former Deputy CM Dev Varma said that the land owner is not the richest at this time. The king is not rich. Rich is he who possesses knowledge. And today’s talented and knowledgeable students are the driving force of the state and country of tomorrow. Those who encourage them on their way forward, those who stay by their side, are actually the real sympathizers of the society.

Former Deputy Chief Minister of the state Jishnu Dev Barman said this while attending an unprecedented merit ratna festival organized by Amar Graphics, Bashundhara Jewelers and Bangla Tripura Maitri Manch at Muktadhara auditorium in Agartala on Sunday evening.

From Dharmanagar to Sabroom, from Kanchanpur to Kanchanmala, entrepreneurs felicitated and gave scholarships to a total of 100 poor and talented students from different schools of the state. Techno India Group has set the tone for this Medha Ratna festival.

State Assembly Deputy Speaker Ram Prasad Pal inaugurated the program on Sunday evening. Former Deputy CM, Principal of Techno College of Engineering Dibakar Deb and proprietor of Amar Graphics Ashutosh Dey, were present as guests.

Speaking on the occasion, the Dev Varma said, Saraswati’s vehicle is the swan. This swan alone can separate milk from water. And this is the knowledge that can judge both good and bad. Not only doctors, engineers, advocates. Quality must be the best. That should be the aim. He said that he himself was encouraged to see such a big event organized by a private initiative. The more important thing is how much the students benefited from it financially, the more such events are held, the more students will be encouraged. He will be more interested in learning.

Quoting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Dev Varma said that the Prime Minister has said that smart cities have become a lot, now we need smart villages. And he himself thinks, now we need smart education and smart students.

Deputy Speaker Ram Prasad Pal’s initiative in establishing Techno India University in Tripura. Assembly Vice-President Ram Prasad Pal said, students will be encouraged in such a meritorious program. And the more they are encouraged, the more they will be enriched in knowledge. If the students are prosperous, the country and the state will benefit.

However, at the beginning of the program, proprietor of Amar Graphics Ashutosh Dey captured the hearts of the students and parents present with an emotional speech. Requesting the students, he said that the students will definitely grow up in the competition and a lot will be achieved and will work with reputation in the country and abroad. But it is very difficult when their parents are here alone. They may have money sent by their son or daughter. But the child’s compassion is not there. Sometimes it happens, the parents can’t even see the child’s face. By the time they return home by plane and plane from abroad, it is too late. Maybe they don’t even attend the funeral.

On this day, Ashutosh Dey holds the importance of keeping the students close to their parents as soon as they are established. Saroj Chakraborty, convenor of Bangla Tripura Maitri Manch, delivered the welcome address on the occasion.

Principal of Techno Engineering College Dr. Dibakar Deb spoke on various issues of Techno University. One of the chief directors of Amar Graphics Navneetha Ghosh and one of the chief directors of Bashundhara Jewelers Alka Bhattacharya felicitated the meritorious students. Deputy editor of Techno Ajkal Group Tapashree Gupta, expressed thanks at the event.

However, there was great enthusiasm among the students and parents of students and teachers around this merit scholarship program organized by Amar Graphics and Bashundhara Jewelers. Especially, bringing the students of various sub-divisions to Agartala, this way the reception and merit scholarship program of the state. An unprecedented example in history. Such a large number of students have been felicitated and felicitated probably never before in the history of the state. At the end, prominent artists of the state participated in the cultural program.
