Bishalgarh councilors launch anti-narcotics operation, police in slumber

Agartala, July 2, 2023: Having lost faith in the police, two councilors of the ruling party launched an anti-narcotics operation in factories with BJP workers. A large quantity of drug paraphernalia was seized from the factory at Goutam Nagar area under Bishalgarh sub-division.

Meanwhile, the notorious drug dealer Subhash Das was able to hide from the factory. Subhash Das, a local notorious drug dealer, has a wooden furniture making factory in Goutam Nagar area ward number one of Bishalgarh sub division. Local citizens have been complaining to Ward No. 1 Councilor Amar Sarkar and Ward No. 2 Councilor at various times that intoxicants are sold and consumed in this factory of Subhash Das. Especially in the dark of the night, in this factory, the social rebels are drowning in the sea of intoxication. After the final stage of intoxicating, all those social rioters took away the nearby railway line.

Not only this, in this factory of Subhash Das, the business of drugs continued for a long time. Ward number one councilor Amar Sarkar said that on Sunday afternoon he raided the factory of Subhash Das along with several functionaries of Bharatiya Janata Party along with the councilor of ward number two. The factory was locked at that time. The infamous drug dealer Subhash Das hides behind the keys and excuses. After a long wait, they broke the lock and entered the factory. A large amount of cotton was recovered from this factory during the raid. The police were called. The market value of all these recovered drug paraphernalia, including vials of narcotic items, would be close to Rs 2-3 lakh, even if discounted.

The police confiscated all the drug paraphernalia and took it to the police station. Let’s see what kind of action the police take against the notorious drug dealer Subhash Das.
