Agartala, 21st March 2024: In a show of support for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Agartala Municipal Corporation’s Mayor Dipak Majumdar engaged in a door-to-door public relations campaign today. The campaign took place in Booth No. 49 within Ward No. 17, rallying support for Biplab Kumar Deb, the BJP’s nominated candidate for the West Tripura parliamentary constituency.
During the campaign, Mayor Majumdar expressed his confidence in the party’s leadership, citing the “unfettered trust and faith” that the people have in Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He was optimistic that the BJP would secure a significant victory, potentially surpassing four hundred seats.
Majumdar emphasized the importance of strengthening the Prime Minister’s position by ensuring a resounding win for the BJP in both seats of Tripura. He stated that the voters’ sentiments will be reflected in the election results, as they consider various factors before casting their ballots.
The campaign witnessed a substantial turnout, with numerous party supporters joining the Mayor to back Deb’s candidacy. The BJP’s presence in the region appears robust as the election day approaches.
