Agartala, April 30: Miscreants brutally killed 17 Anandamarg monks at Bijan Setu in Kolkata on April 30, 1982. A protest march was organized on Sunday demanding an impartial trial by the Chief Justice in the Supreme Court.
After the procession, the organizers said that 41 years back, the monks of Anandamarg were killed by the criminals of the CPIM at Bijan Setu in Kolkata. In protest, the procession started from Anandamarga school area and took various routes. At the end of the procession, a meeting was held to pay respect to the monks. He also said that in 41 years, the criminals have not been punished for their sins. So they said that the demand has been raised to punish the sin.
