Anti-tobacco campaign at Sabroom market

Agartala, September 12, 2022: In a joint effort of District Health Officer and Sabroom police station staff conducted an anti-tobacco drive at Sabroom market area on Monday.

District Chief Health Officer Dr Jagadish Nama, Nodal Officer of the National Tobacco Control Programme Dr Alok Das, Program Manager Tapas Das and NTBT Consultant Arijit Das were present in this drive. This raid took place at Sabroom Bazar at around 12 noon.

All shops within 200 yards of various schools and Sabroom market where various types of tobacco products are found are fined and informed about the restrictions to be followed in the coming days.
