Agartala, 10th January 2026: Aryavart International University (AIU) expands its academic publishing infrastructure with the launch of five specialized peer-reviewed journals, providing a major platform for researchers in the 2025–2026 academic cycle to share their findings with a global audience. Established by the Government of Tripura and recognized by the UGC, the university is now offering open-access publication pathways in fields ranging from medical sciences to humanities, specifically targeting scholars in Northeast India and beyond. These journals—IJASSH, IJDSSH, IJRMST, IJPS, and MIJ—are designed to bridge the gap between regional innovation and international scholarly discourse, aligning with the university’s broader mission to support the Start-up Tripura initiative.
The core of this new expansion is built on high academic standards, with several journals already reporting significant impact factors, such as the International Journal of Research in Medical Sciences and Technology (IJRMST) at 7.212 and the International Journal of Development in Social Sciences and Humanities (IJDSSH) at 7.012. These publications utilize a double-blind peer-review process to ensure that research is judged solely on its merit and quality, rather than the author’s institutional affiliation. To accommodate a diverse range of scholars, the IJDSSH accepts submissions in both English and Hindi, while the Multidisciplinary International Journal (MIJ) welcomes work across nearly all academic sectors, including engineering, commerce, and the arts.
These new titles complement AIU’s existing academic ecosystem, which includes a 25-acre campus in North Tripura and professional approvals from the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the Bar Council of India (BCI). The university’s previous efforts in research have laid the groundwork for this rapid expansion, where acknowledgment of papers now occurs within 24 to 48 hours and the total review-to-publication cycle is often completed in as little as ten days. By providing both electronic and print ISSN registrations, the university ensures that all published work is formally documented and easily discoverable through major academic search engines like Google Scholar, ROAD, and CrossRef.
The university’s long-standing commitment to open-access policies ensures that all research published through these journals remains freely available to the public, removing financial barriers for readers and increasing citation impact for authors. This infrastructure is further supported by the university’s membership in the Association of Indian Universities and its active involvement in regional innovation through an on-campus incubation center. By offering standardized paper templates and multiple submission channels—including online systems and direct messaging—AIU continues to streamline the publishing process for the international academic community while solidifying its position as a leader in regional academic infrastructure development.
Aryavart International University, Tripura’s leading private university, established by the State Legislature of the Government of Tripura under Act No. 03 of 2023, is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Bar Council of India (BCI), and Directorate of Medical Education (DME). A member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), the university supports NSP scholarship programs and delivers excellence in Law, Pharmacy, Technology, Management, Journalism, and Humanities on its 25-acre green campus at Tilthai, Dharmanagar.
