Assam Rifles DIG Meets Tripura DGP to Boost Security Coordination

Agartala, 1st January 2026 :  Brigadier Nishant Chandel, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the 21 Sector Assam Rifles, recently called on Anurag, Director General of Police (DGP), Tripura, to discuss key security matters in the state.

During the meeting, both officers deliberated on the prevailing security situation in Tripura and emphasized the importance of close coordination and cooperation between the Assam Rifles and Tripura Police. The discussions aimed to enhance joint operational strategies and ensure proactive measures for maintaining law and order in the region.

The meeting reflects the commitment of both forces to work collaboratively in safeguarding the state’s security and addressing emerging challenges efficiently.
