Agartala, 14th September 2025: Assam Rifles organized a special lecture under the campaign of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan for its troops yesterday. The session aimed at educating soldiers about the harmful effects of substance abuse and creating awareness to maintain a healthy and disciplined lifestyle.
The lecture focused on sensitizing troops about the ill-effects of drugs, alcohol, and related substances, highlighting their impact on individual health, family, and the larger community. The event also emphasized the role of soldiers in setting an example for society by staying committed to a drug-free life.
By conducting such awareness programmes, Assam Rifles not only continues to fulfil its primary role as the Sentinels of the North East but also contributes significantly towards building a healthier and stronger society.
