Agartala, 26th September 2026 : Assam Rifles organised a Medical-cum-Dental Camp at Silachari in Gomati district on September 25 as part of its ongoing community outreach initiatives aimed at improving access to healthcare among the tribal population of Tripura.
The camp offered essential healthcare services, including medical consultations, health screening and dental examinations. The initiative also focused on creating awareness among residents about preventive healthcare, personal hygiene and oral health.
According to Assam Rifles, the programme was aimed at addressing the basic healthcare needs of the local community and providing medical services closer to the doorstep of residents in the area.
The camp also provided an opportunity for Assam Rifles personnel to interact with local people and understand their healthcare-related concerns and requirements.
Local residents appreciated the initiative and expressed gratitude to Assam Rifles for bringing essential medical and dental services closer to the community.
