Agartala, 25th June 2025: Assam Rifles in its commitment to environmental sustainability and community engagement organized a successful tree plantation drive with Tripura Forest Department at Radhanagar, Tripura to promote preservation of ecosystem among the local population today.
The plantation drive commenced with a short speech explaining the importance of Trees followed by plantation of trees. A total of 186 saplings were planted during the ecofriendly drive.
Total 209 individuals and 40 children participated in the event. Through this initiative, the Assam Rifles sought to connect with the nature by the earth, symbolizing care and growth.
