Assam Rifles holds visit of school children to Zoological & Eco Park at Sepahijala

Agartala, 28th July 2024:   Assam Rifles organized a visit of school children to Sepahijala Zoological and Ecological Park at Sepahijala district on the occasion of World Nature Conservation day on Sunday.

The visit was aimed at inculcating a sense of conservation and preservation of endangered species of both flora and fauna, landscapes and other natural resources among the students.

The children were briefed about the importance of tree plantation, reducing plastic waste and promoting reuse of waste material for environmental conservation. The students were informed about the importance of natural resources in today’s world so as to ensure a better future.

Altogether 25 students’ alongwith two teachers participated in the event. The students greatly enjoyed the educational experience of visiting the Zoological and Ecological park of Sepahijala.
