Agartala, 28th July 2024: The Lions Club of Agartala organized a tree plantation program today graced by the presence of Agartala Municipal Corporation’s Commissioner Shailesh Kumar Yadav, MLA Sudip Sarkar and Lions Club of Agartala President Bhaskar Deb among others.
During the event, approximately 300 saplings were planted along Airport Road in Agartala city. Commissioner Shailesh Kumar Yadav emphasized the importance of not only planting trees but also ensuring their care. He stated, “This responsibility should not rest solely on entrepreneurs. Everyone must take this initiative to ensure the trees grow and contribute to a cleaner environment.”
