Agartala, 31st January 2026: Assam Rifles Public School Agartala celebrated its much-awaited Annual Day with great enthusiasm and splendour on 30th January 2026 at the school campus. The event witnessed an overwhelming gathering of more than 2500 people, including parents, alumni, distinguished guests, and well-wishers.
The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest, Brig Nishant Chandel, Commander of 21 Sector Assam Rifles. The Guests of Honour included Col Sahil Sharma, Commandant of 35 Assam Rifles, and Swati Sharma, First Lady of 35 Assam Rifles.
The programme began with a warm welcome followed by vibrant cultural performances showcasing the rich diversity, talent, and creativity of the students. Dance dramas, musical presentations, and thematic acts highlighting values such as unity, patriotism, and environmental awareness captivated the audience.
A special highlight of the evening was the felicitation ceremony honouring National and State level achievers along with school toppers of the Board Examinations. The dignitaries applauded the students for their academic excellence and encouraged them to pursue higher goals with dedication and discipline.
The Chief Guest of the occasion the students and spoke about the importance of such cultural activities in the overall development of children. In his address, he emphasized that along with academic education, sports, music, and cultural activities play a vital role in shaping disciplined, confident, and creative individuals.
The Principal of the school, Animesh Acharya presented the Annual Report, highlighting the academic progress, achievements in co-curricular activities, sports successes, and future plans of the institution. The report reflected the school’s continuous efforts towards excellence in education and holistic development.
The guests appreciated the performances of the students and congratulated the school for its overall progress and achievements. The Annual Function concluded on a joyful note, strengthening the bond between students, teachers, and parents.
