Agartala, June 12, 2023: As part of Go Green initiative and to contribute in preserving the environment, Radhanagar Battalion of Agartala Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (E) organised a tree plantation drive at Radhanagar in Unakoti district, Teliamura in Khowai district, Bagbassa in North Tripura district and Ambassa in Dhalai district, Tripura on 12 Jun 2023.
The plantation drive was conducted to foster a culture of responsibility towards nature among local populace & troops. A total of 4,350 saplings of various variety were planted by local populace & troops of Assam Rifles.
The drive has spread a sense of responsibility and care towards nature among all participants.
