Agartala, 23rd February 2026: Radhanagar Battalion of Assam Rifles organised an Ex-Servicemen (ESM) Rally cum Medical Camp yesterday with the aim of addressing the welfare and grievances of its veterans and their families.
A total of 144 attendees, comprising 107 Ex-Servicemen, 12 widows and 25 families, attended the rally and actively participated in the interactive session. The attendees shared their concerns and grievances, primarily related to ECHS facilities, lack of awareness regarding DSP pension accounts, and issues concerning Canteen Cards.
During the rally, officials provided guidance and assistance to resolve the issues raised and assured necessary follow-up action with the concerned authorities. A medical camp was also organised as part of the event to provide healthcare support to the veterans and their dependents.
The rally was conducted under the motto, “You served with honour, we honour your service.” The initiative reaffirmed Assam Rifles’ unwavering commitment towards the welfare of its Ex-Servicemen and conveyed a strong message that the Force remains dedicated to supporting and caring for its veterans.
