Agartala, 23rd June 2026: Assam Rifles participated with great zeal and enthusiasm in the International Olympic Day celebrations held at the historic Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan, Agartala, on Tuesday. The iconic cultural landmark provided an inspiring setting where the timeless Olympic ideals of Move, Achieve and Discover found vibrant expression among the ranks of the Indian Army.
Agartala Battalion of Assam Rifles joined hands with the local community in collective participation, reaffirming their commitment to physical excellence, sporting spirit and national pride. Administrative support was extended by the Battalion to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the event. Troops enthusiastically participated in the Olympic Day Rally, marching shoulder to shoulder with civil society in a powerful affirmation of the Olympic values that bind all of humanity.
