Attack at Bishalgarh: Family narrowly escapes, car vandalized

Agartala, 10th February 2025:  A shocking incident of vandalism and assault has left the residents of Noapara in Bishalgarh tense and concerned for their safety. The incident took place last night involving a ngroup of local miscreants who attacked a youth Milad Hossain and his family as they were returning home from Agartala.

Milad Hossain, a resident of Noapara was traveling in his personal luxury car with his wife, three-year-old son and two friends when they were ambushed near the party office in Noapara. According to Hossain, the attackers included Jasimuddin Nasir Hossain, Tafajjal Hossain, Biswajit Saha, Samar Saha, and several other youths armed with sticks and rods. The miscreants not only assaulted Hossain and his friend Nasir Uddin but also vandalized their car.

“I was driving home when suddenly, a group of men attacked us out of nowhere. They beat us mercilessly and shattered the car windows. I had to drive at high speed to escape, fearing for our lives,” recounted Milad Hossain.

Milad Hossain’s wife claimed that the attackers intended to kill them. “We narrowly escaped. If Milad hadn’t driven away, we could have been killed,” she said. The attack left Milad Hossain bloodied and both he and Nasir Uddin were taken to the Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital by relatives and neighbors for primary treatment.

In response to the assault, Milad Hossain’s wife filed a case against six individuals at the Bishalgarh police station on Sunday night. Local sources revealed that all the accused are known supporters of the ruling party and have been creating terror in the area for an extended period. “These miscreants have been harassing us mentally and physically for a long time. A few days ago, they even severely beat up Milad and one of his friends,” Milad Hossain’s wife stated
