Agartala, December 31, 2022: A tragic road mishap took place at Chechurimai area on Agartala-Sabroom national highway where a 48-year old man sustained grievous injuries and referred to GBP Hospital for better treatment.
It is reported that an auto-rickshaw carrying goods bearing registration number TR01A1568 was proceeding towards Agartala from Bishramganj which lost control and met with an accident at Chechurimai area.
The auto-rickshaw driver Sajal Das (48), resident of Sadhu Tilla area of the capital city was seriously injured. The eyewitnesses reported the incident to the Fire department.
On receiving the information, the staff of the office rushed to the spot, rescued the injured vehicle driver and shifted him to the primary health centre. As his physical condition worsened, he was referred to GBP Hospital for better treatment after initial treatment.
