Agartala, 15th September 2026 :Over 1,050 people, including students, youth, senior citizens, health workers and local residents, participated in an ‘Ayurveda Arogya Rath’ mass rally organised in Gomati district on Tuesday as part of the upcoming 11th Ayurveda Day celebrations.
The rally began at the Matarbari Mandir premises and culminated at the Chandrapur Playground, witnessing enthusiastic participation from people across different sections of society.
Matarbari MLA, Chairperson of Udaipur Municipal Council, Chairperson of Panchayat Samiti, ADM, CMO and other officials joined the rally and walked alongside the participants.
A major attraction of the programme was a large banner carried by around 300 school students, accompanied by the chanting of ‘Dhanvantari Vandana’. Balloons were also released during the event to highlight the Ayurveda Day theme, “Ayurveda for a Healthier Tomorrow.”
The rally sought to promote awareness about Ayurveda and encourage wider adoption of traditional healthcare practices for a healthier lifestyle.
The event was jointly organised by the Office of the CMO, Gomati, Matabari RD Block and the National Ayush Mission, Tripura.
