Agartala, November 09: The North East Institute of Nursing Science, a reputed nursing college in Tripura, has received approval to start the B.Sc Nursing course from this year. The college has announced that it will admit 40 students for the four-year degree course, which will provide them with theoretical and practical knowledge of nursing and health care.
The interested candidates can apply for admission by November 13, 2023, by filling up the online application form available on the college website. The admission will be based on the merit of the candidates in the qualifying examination and the personal interview. The interview will be held on November 20, 2023, from 10 am to 4 pm, at the college campus located near the Bypass in Amtali.
The founder and chairman of the college, Dr. Partha Pratim Saha, said this in a press conference held at the Nursing Institute, Nagicherra on Thursday. He said that the college aims to provide quality education and training to the aspiring nurses and prepare them for the challenges and opportunities in the health sector. He also said that the college offers special facilities and scholarships for the students belonging to the Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Scheduled Castes (SC) categories.
The press conference was attended by the faculty and staff of the college, as well as the media representatives. The college authorities requested the eligible candidates to apply for the course and take advantage of the opportunity to pursue a rewarding career in nursing.
