Agartala: November 09. Tipra Motha has filed a case with the Cybercrime Special Branch, alleging the hacking of former party chairman Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma’s Facebook page. The case highlights a concerning incident where explicit content was posted as a story on November 6 and 8, aimed at insulting Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma.

Nitish Reang, who manages Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma’s Facebook page, stated that he had refrained from posting on the page for the past few days. The incident is viewed as more than just a hacking attempt; it is perceived as a deliberate effort to damage Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma’s public image.

Mevar Kumar Jamatia, leader of the Tipra Motha party, expressed grave concern over the hacking incident, labeling it a serious cybercrime. He urged the Cybercrime branch to swiftly investigate the matter and take necessary action. Jamatia emphasized that such efforts to undermine the reputation of Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma have persisted over an extended period, warranting strict measures against those involved.
