BAHC to celebrate “Bangabandhu’s” birth anniversary with drawing competition, discussion on March 17

Agartala, March 11, 2023: On the occasion of the 103rd birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Children’s Day- 2023, the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala will hold a “Sit and Draw Competition”, discussion and award distribution ceremony for children of different ages.

In a press communique of BAHC in Agartala informed “On March 17 next, “Sit Drawing Competition” will start from 9 AM and prize will be distributed on the same day at 11 AM. In the competition “A-Division” (upto 6 years), Subject – Mind Picture; “B -Section” (from 9 to 9 years of age), subject – Natural Scenery of Bangladesh and “C-Section” (from 9 to 12 years of age), subject – Bangabandhu’s picture, to be drawn. Drawing paper for “Sit Drawing Competition” will be provided by the Assistant High Commission. However, the contestants have to bring their drawing materials. Before the start of the “Sit Drawing Competition” at the premises of Bangladesh Assistant High Commission at 08:30 a.m. hoisting the flag of Bangladesh, reciting the speech and then Floral tributes will be laid on the portrait of the Father of the Nation by the Assistant High Commission.

It is to be noted that special prayers and a discussion meeting on Bangabandhu’s life, activities and colourful political life will be held before the award distribution. The last phase of the program will have delightful cultural program.
