Agartala: June 15. Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday has sent 500 kgs of mangoes to the Chief Minister of Tripura Dr Manik Saha.
Like every year, Prime Minister of the neighboring Country has again sent delicious mangoes as a seasonal gift. A cartoon loaded with mangoes arrived at Agartala through Akhaura border at noon that day.
Assistant High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Agartalam Arif Mohammad, First Secretary Embassy Rezaul Haque Chowdhury, First Secretary Al Amin and other officials of the embassy were present at Akhaura border in Agartala.
Speaking on the matter, Assistant High Commissioner Arif Mohammad said Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has sent 500 kg of delicious mangoes to the Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha.
“It is indeed a very good day as Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina has sent around 500 kgs of mango for Chief Minister of Tripura Dr Manik Saha. Today we have received the mango through Agartala-Akhaura Integrated Check Post. Today we will try to handover the mango to the Chief Minister.
He also said that by sending mangoes as a gift, is reminds the deep relationship between Tripura and Bangladesh
