Agartala, March 18, 2023: VDVK product outlet was inaugurated on Saturday at Nehru Complex in Gurkhabasti area with the initiative of Tribal Welfare department under Van Dhan Yojana.
Tribal Welfare minister Bikash Debbarma inaugurated this outlet and said that through this outlet the public can buy the products produced by the VDVK committees. As a result the member or members of VDVK committees will benefit financially.
He said such outlets will be opened in other parts of the state gradually. At present, various products are available in this outlet including chili pickles, banana chips produced by Unakoti and Darche VDVK in Unakoti district, Kubui of Dhalai district and Thanganilama of Gomati district.
