Agartala, 24th June 2025:   An NS 200 motorcycle was recovered from a dense forest along the Jampuijala-Jirania route this afternoon, sparking local curiosity and prompting a police investigation.

According to sources, a tribal farmer from Belbari village discovered the abandoned bike while herding his cows toward his farmland. The motorcycle was reportedly found deep in the underbrush, away from the roadside.

Upon learning of the discovery, residents gathered at the location and promptly notified Radhapur Police Station. Law enforcement officials rushed to the site, retrieved the vehicle, and transported it to the station for further examination.

Initial assessments suggest the motorcycle may have been lying in the jungle for an extended period. Although a partial number plate was reportedly found, authorities have yet to trace the vehicle’s registered owner. Police suspect the bike may have been abandoned by thieves who were unable to complete the theft.
