The incident occurred in Madhyam Krishnapur of Radhanagar village panchayat, Rajnagar assembly, where the child, belonging to the family of a day laborer named Arjun Tripura, sustained burns to various parts of his body, including his face. With the family relying on daily wages for sustenance, the financial burden of the child’s treatment weighed heavily upon them.

Initially, a sum of 50 thousand rupees was provided for the child’s medical treatment, offering a glimmer of hope to the affected family.
