Bir Bikram Memorial College hosts registration camp for PM Internship scheme, attracts 333 aspirants

Agartala, 24th March 2025:  The Placement Cell of Bir Bikram Memorial College in collaboration with the Directorate of Skill Development successfully organized a Registration Camp for the PM Internship Scheme on Monday at BBM College here. A total of 333 aspirants including final-year students and passed-out graduates, registered for the scheme reflecting their keen interest in gaining industry-relevant experience. The event was marked by insightful addresses from Dr.Basudeb Bhattacharya, Co-ordinator, Placement Cell and Dr.Manidip Roy, Head, Department of Economics.

Both speakers emphasized the importance of the PM Internship Scheme in bridging the gap between academics and practical work experience, equipping students with essential skills for their professional journey. The event also saw the presence of distinguished faculty members and officials, including Dr.Sujit Das, Head, Department of Commerce, Dr.Alpana Bhattacharya, Assistant Professor, Debapriya Majumder, Guest Lecturer and representatives from the Directorate of Skill Development.

Their participation and guidance further enriched the program, encouraging students to take full advantage of the internship opportunities available. The event concluded on a positive note, with students expressing enthusiasm and appreciation for this initiative aimed at enhancing their career prospects.
