Birajit writes to Manipur CM seeking help for a family stuck in the violence effected state

Agartala: May 06. Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee President Birajit Sinha on Saturday wrote a letter to Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh and sought urgent assistance for a Bengali family in Churachandpur on Manipur.

In the letter, Birajit who is also an MLA said, “I am writing to you with an urgent request for assistance for a Bengali family in Churachandpur, Manipur. The family is currently facing a dire situation and requires immediate help. The family, consisting of six members identified as Ranju Chakraborty, Bijoy Chakraborty, Bulty Acharjee, Brinda Chakraborty, Reyansh Chakraborty and Anup Acharjee, resides near R.S. Automobile, Centre Road, Churachandpur, Manipur”.

Birajit further claimed in his letter that the family currently stuck inside their room due to the ongoing violence in the area, and are unable to leave their house.

“They have no access to food and are currently starving. Moreover, the family is frightened and scared for their safety. With this letter, I humbly request you to extend your support and help to this vulnerable family. I urge you to take swift action in ensuring their safety and well-being. I request you to kindly arrange for their safe evacuation to a shelter or a safer location, where they can receive the necessary support and care. I also urge you to ensure that they have access to food, water, and other basic amenities during this difficult time”, the letter reads.

He said, “I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your time and attention to this matter. I hope that you will take immediate action in providing assistance to this family and ensuring their safety. Your support and intervention will make a significant difference in their lives”.
