Bishalgarh MLA Sushanta Deb visits ablaze shops at Golaghati

Agartala, April 12, 2023: On the last week of Chaitra month according to Bengali calendar, four shops of Golaghati’s Bridge Chowmuhani bazar area were completely gutted with fire on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday.

It is reported that businessmen Ranjit Rabi Das, Suman Rabi Das, Dilip Rabi Das and Bijoy Rabi Das closed their shop on Tuesday night after completing all the work in Golaghati Bridge Choumuhani area like other days.

At night, locals found that flames rose from these four shops and informed the owners. Hearing the information, businessmen along with their family members rushed to the spot. Two fire tenders from Bishalgarh and Bishramganj Fire Service Stations rushed to the spot, but failed to save anything as everything has burnt to ashes.

On the other hand, Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Magistrate Binay Bhushan Das rushed to the spot on Wednesday morning along with MLA Sushanta Deb. The affected 4 businessmen burst into tears after meeting the MLA and the SDM. The affected businessmen are absolutely devastated as they have incurred huge loss. Bishalgarh SDM Das also spoke to the affected traders. The MLA discussed with the Sub-Divisional Ruler how to stand by the businessmen for the loss.

According to Bengali calendar’s Chaitra month, every trader owes something or the other, the MLA gave a message in support of the the affected traders so that no creditor should create pressure on them.

Besides, the MLA also gave a message to all the affected businessmen to be strong and move forward in the coming days.All the traders in Vishalgarh Bazar are saddened by the burning down of these four shops in the last moment of the Bengali year.
