Agartala, 14th September 2026 : The Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Tripura, has revised the date of the holiday on account of Biswakarma Puja for colleges under the Higher Education Department.
According to a corrigendum issued by the Directorate, the holiday earlier scheduled for September 17, 2026 (Thursday) will now be observed on September 18, 2026 (Friday).
The change applies to all General, Technical and Professional Colleges under the Higher Education Department, Government of Tripura.
The corrigendum, issued on September 11, stated that the revised date was being notified in partial modification of the earlier notification concerning holidays.
“All other contents of the earlier notification shall remain unchanged,” the order stated.
The notification has been circulated to all Principals/Principal-in-Charge of government general degree colleges, technical institutes and professional colleges in the state.
