Agartala Aug 13: Pressing for various important demands the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party’s ally IPFT has decided to participate in a mass demonstration at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar on August 23 next.
This was announced on Saturday by IPFT president and Minister N C Debbarma. The 5th Central Executive Committee meeting of IPFT was held under the leadership of IPFT president and Minister N C Debbarma at the Agartala Press Club.Talking to the reporters, Minister N C Debbarma said, the major topic of discussion in the day’s meeting was to make the Delhi campaign a success.
NC Debbarma said, “IPFT is going to hold a procession and gathering at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar on August 23 and the delegates of the party will leave for the program on August 18”.He further added that discussions were also held centering the forthcoming Village Committee elections and 2023 assembly elections in Tripura.Along with IPFT president and minister NC Debbarma, minister Prem Kumar Reang and other leaders and members of IPFT remained present at the meeting.
