Agartala, 23rd September 2026 : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has carried out a major organisational reshuffle, with party national president Nitin Nabin announcing new Prabharis and co-Prabharis for several states.
As part of the reshuffle, BJP national general secretary and Tripura MP, former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, has been appointed as the party’s Prabhari for Madhya Pradesh. He will oversee the BJP’s organisational affairs in the state, with Rekha Verma appointed as the co-Prabhari.
Meanwhile, Mriganka Deo Barman, a BJP leader from Assam, has been appointed as the new Prabhari for Tripura. He will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the party’s organisational activities in the state.
The appointments are part of a broader organisational restructuring undertaken by the BJP, with several leaders being assigned new responsibilities across different states.
The new appointments are expected to bring changes in the party’s organisational coordination and functioning in both Tripura and Madhya Pradesh as the BJP continues to strengthen its state-level organisational structure.
