Agartala, May 12, 2023: BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee on Friday said that the battle for the 2023 assembly elections was tough in this state because all the political parties are trying to form a coalition and some political parties have formed alliances as their mission was to defeat the BJP. But the Bharatiya Janata Party organization was too strong to come close and that is why it has been re-established and formed government, he added.

While addressing at the Shakti Kendra expansion training and booth self-strengthening campaign organized by BJP state committee at Agartala Town Hall on Friday, Bhattacharjee said that even though many people were disappointed, the determination of the party leaders was due to the hard work of the functionaries, as a result of which the BJP government would be established for the second time.

He criticized the CPIM and Congress today and said CPIM fought in alliance with those who were in opposition for 25 years. And pointing a finger at the CPIM, he said, the murderous forces of the Communists have brutally tortured the Congressmen for 25 years. And many Congress workers lost their lives protesting against the murderous forces of the Communists.

Criticizing the Congress, he said that since 1988, people have been oppressed. And this time the Congress and the Communists fought against the BJP as an alliance. But people have taught them what they should. People have well understood that if there is any option in Tripura state then Bharatiya Janata Party and this saffron party can develop the state and work for people’s welfare. Bharatiya Janata Party formed the government for the second time from the confidence of the people.

Ahead of the Lok Sabha election in 2024, the booth empowerment campaign has started. Weaknesses are identified and improved. For that purpose, the karyakartas will go to the people for seven days and work to build strong booths, strong organizations, he said.

Bharatiya Janata Party national General Secretary Arvind Menon, MLA Kishore Barman and other leaders were also present on the day.
